Do you ask for help even when you don’t need it, or do you run screaming for the hills at the thought that you may need someone? Perhaps you fall somewhere between these two extremes. More than likely. Either way, needing help is completely human. Giving and receiving help willingly promotes positive relationships and can produce amazing results. Nowadays we fancy it up and call it collaboration. Same thing. Let’s take a look at some of the benefits (to both the ‘helpee’ and the helper) of the H-word.


Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Just approach it with wisdom. Be open to unsolicited offers of help. Again, approach it with wisdom. We were made to help and to receive help. Seriously, helping and being helped are simply parts of life.
